BUSINESS MEETING OF FEBRUARY 8, 2012
The meeting was called to order by President Marc Stermer. The minutes were read and approved. Robert gave the treasure’s report. He transferred savings to checking to avoid a service fee. It was decided to include our total assets on the monthly report. The value of our assets will be determined by the board and will be depreciated yearly. The report was filed for audit.
Daryl said we have 37 members. We voted in one new member. He is Kyle Martin.
We have a lot of water by the field. We will have a work party March 4th. We want to pump the water away and move the fences to enlarge the pits. We will discuss how to keep the water away with Mark Mihalik.
Dennis transferred the web site for HEF and is working on it. The new address is hef-rcexpo.com.
Tony got $900 for the pylons from the USRA. They only wanted the aluminum frames and are using their own electronics. He gave the check to Robert.
HEF will be December 7th through the 9th.
We talked about having a big raffle. We need to start selling tickets 6 months before HEF.
The by-laws changes have been published and we voted to change them.
Bernie has a lot of balsa. Call him before buying any.
Dome flying is February 11th. Spire flying is February 17th.
The Ravenna swap is March 4th. Shelby is having one March 11th. Paul Worley has information on this one.
